In the days following the election, a few of us got together and talked about feeling helpless. We made promises to each other to start doing something—anything. We talked about holding each other accountable and bringing in as many people as possible on this pledge as well.

That’s how the project idea began, and soon we found more and more people who wanted in as well.

The Every Day Project works like a political juice cleanse. Quitting smoking. You do it every day to create a new habit. It's not always going to be fun, but that's sort of the point. Political activism isn’t always difficult, but sometimes it is uncomfortable, and we have to do it together.

None of us know what’s going to happen in the next four years, but we can’t stay silent and we can’t be complacent. We're trying this out, and we're interested to see what we can do together. Sign up for updates, follow us on social, and please tell a friend.
