Don't let Trump get his hands on a dangerous tool that targets Muslims
The National Security Entry-Exit Registration System (NSEERS) is a dormant visa tracking system started in 2001, after the 9/11 attacks under the Bush administration. The system—which has been called ineffective and fundamentally unfair by the ACLU—is used primarily to track Muslim Americans.
At the height of its use, NSEERS monitored more than 80,000 Muslims across the country, causing over 13,000 people to be identified for deportation. Though it operated for nearly 10 years, NSEERS did not produce a single terrorism conviction.
If passed over to Donald Trump, this highly dangerous registry could be reactivated.
Over 200 groups have sent letters to the White House asking Obama to dismantle NSEERS. It just takes seconds to join them.
Tell President Obama to dismantle NSEERS once and for all:
We'll see you tomorrow, and every day after that.
