What happens when we no longer have access to accurate information about climate change?
Trump is staffing his cabinet with anti-research and climate change-deniers, including Scott Pruitt and newly-named Energy Secretary Rick Perry. At the same time, the scientific and academic communities are frantically trying to safeguard accurate, peer-reviewed government research on climate science.
To protect against US surveillance and potential restrictions put forth by our President-elect and his climate change-denying officials, the people at Internet Archive are fundraising to create a backup archive in Canada.
They want the research and work to protect our planet to stay safe and accessible to the internet at large.
Help them to preserve accurate, informed climate science:
Share your support on Facebook and Twitter, and tell your friends who understand the real and potentially devastating impact that climate change has on our planet to help preserve this important research archive.
We don’t know what Trump’s presidency means for the climate, but we must protect important research to prepare for the fight.
